Cornelis Networks Powers Three New Supercomputers in June 2024 TOP500 List

May 23, 2024

Exciting news from ISC’24! Cornelis Networks is pleased to power three new supercomputers added to the June 2024 TOP500 list, including another TOP100 Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) system, Amber, deployed at the Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia).  Funded under the second Commodity Technology Systems contract (CTS-2) by NNSA’s Advanced Simulation and Computing (ASC) program, Amber was delivered by Dell Technologies using PowerEdge C6220 servers with Intel Xeon Platinum 8480+56C 2GHz processors and Cornelis Networks Omni-Path high-performance interconnect.

NEC also delivered two systems with Cornelis Omni-Path interconnect in Norway with Intel and AMD processors, respectively.

Cornelis is thrilled to collaborate with all our ecosystem partners to deliver performance at scale for our customers. Last week’s announcement by the TOP500 organizers marks another important milestone in our journey towards advancing high performance networking solutions to accelerate the world’s most demanding AI and HPC applications.
